SkinAssured Trust Score™
Our scoring system rates every provider out of 100, built from verified reviews across platforms, confirmed insurance, listed qualifications, identity checks and profile completeness.
Scores are calculated from verified sources and update automatically whenever new information is confirmed. No provider can buy, inflate or self-report their score, and Highly Trusted status is only awarded to providers with verified insurance.

What we check
Six pillars of trust
No score is based solely on what a provider tells us. Every factor is independently verified or cross-checked against third-party sources.
Identity verification
We independently verify that providers are who they say they are and that their business operates legitimately before they receive verified status.
Insurance
Providers upload their insurance certificate for review by our team. Once verified, this is confirmed on their public profile. Documents are deleted immediately after verification for GDPR compliance.
Independent reviews
We cross-reference ratings from Google, Fresha, Treatwell, Trustpilot and other recognised platforms. Verified ratings are confirmed against live platform profiles. Declared ratings from inactive platforms are clearly labelled.
Qualifications
Providers list their qualifications and credentials on their profile. These are publicly visible so you can see exactly what training and certifications they hold before booking.
Profile completeness
A complete profile with contact details, bio, treatments offered and conditions treated is a strong signal of a professional who takes their reputation seriously.
Not self-reported
No provider can simply claim a high Trust Score. Every factor is earned through independent verification or cross-checked against third-party sources. Scores cannot be bought.

Once a business passes our manual verification checks, it can display the verified badge on its own website and social profiles.
Verification that is checked, never claimed
Verification is done by hand. Someone at SkinAssured checks the business is real, its contact details and address are genuine, and its reviews are authentic. Only then is the badge awarded. It is not a rating and it cannot be bought.

Your Trust Score is worked out from verified sources by the SkinAssured Trust Score™ and recalculates whenever new information is confirmed. Nobody can raise or lower it by hand, and it cannot be bought.
Declared ratings are always labelled
If a review platform profile is no longer active, the rating is clearly marked as declared so you always know what has been independently confirmed.
GDPR compliant by design
Insurance documents are held only until a member of our team has reviewed them. The moment your insurance is approved, the document is deleted from our servers automatically. We never share it, or anything else, with third parties.
Protecting your business & reputation
You have worked hard to build your reputation. SkinAssured exists to connect clients actively searching for your treatments directly to you, presented honestly and without interference.
Reviews preserved across platforms
If a provider leaves a review platform or their profile is removed, their rating history is preserved on SkinAssured. Your track record stays with you.
Verification is done by a person
Every insurance document and profile listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. No automation, no rubber stamping. The score is automatic, the checks behind it are not.
No card, no contract, no auto-renewal
Claiming your profile creates no contract and no minimum term. We never ask for card or bank details to claim, or during your free period, so nothing can be charged and nothing renews on its own.
When your free period ends, nothing happens
Your listing stays live, verified and receiving enquiries on the free tier. If you want to keep the Standard features you choose to subscribe at that point, at your founding rate. If you do nothing, you are not charged.
